The Nigerian Air Force has reportedly rescued at least seven kidnapped victims in Kaduna.
In a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the victims were rescued near Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State.
The victims include six females and one male who said he was picked against his will from Rijau in Niger State.
Gabkwet said the special forces were on patrol on August 6, 2023, near Birnin Gwari, when the terrorists, upon sighting them, abandoned their victims and fled into a nearby forest, according to Daily Post.
They were subsequently taken to NAF medical facility at Birnin Gwari for review and were released, but the male victim is still being observed.
