The commander also reported that arrested suspects were profiled, with those meriting prosecution sent to court, while others received referrals to NDLEA’s counseling unit for support and rehabilitation.
Idris-Ahmad expressed gratitude for the support of NDLEA Chairman/CEO Brigadier-General Mohammed Marwa (Rtd) and acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Kano State Government and other stakeholders.
“This level of success would not be possible without the continuous assistance from our leadership and the collective contributions of our partners,” he said.
He called on community members to assist in the agency’s efforts by reporting any drug-related activities through the NDLEA’s dedicated hotline, 0800 1020 3040. “Together, we can create a safer and healthier society for all,” he concluded.
