Encomium has continued to come in for popular Nigerian actor, Lateef Adedimeji, for his role in the newly released Netflix movie,Jagun Jagun (The Warrior).
Since its release, the film has garnered praise from critics and fans, who have commended its storyline, cinematography, cast, and action sequence.
The actor, who starred alongside other prominent Yoruba Nollywood actors and actresses, has continued to receive great commendations from Nigerians for his role and performance in the movie.
The new Netflix original follows the story of a young man named Gbotija (Lateef Adedimeji) who sets out to become a powerful warrior, joins an elite army, and then falls in love with the daughter of the army’s warlord, Ogundiji (Femi Adebayo), Kiitan (Bukunmi Oluwashina).
A tweep, @Dr. Oyewole Abidemi, while commending Lateef Adedimeji, tweeted, “Lateef Adedimeji has greatly improved in his craft over the years. The leap is astounding.

“He’s beginning to sound like a South Easterner, I think, because he plays that role too much”.
