Social media users have been reacting to Pastor Femi Lazarus, who warned women against showing attitude during their menstrual period, adding that they are not the first to experience menstruation.
In a video that has gone viral, Lazarus who is the Lead pastor at the Sphere of Light Church in Ibadan, stated, “You are not the first woman to have your period, so your menstruation is not the problem. You are simply not a peaceful person.”
He also mentioned some women from the Bible who, despite experiencing menstruation, remained peaceful with their husbands. “Deborah had her period in the Bible and she was calm. Esther had her period in the Bible and she was calm,” he said.
