Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has expressed profound grief over the passing of the Chief Imam of Minna, Mallam Ibrahim Fari, whose death marks a major loss to the state and the Muslim community at large.
In a heartfelt statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor described the late Mallam Isah Fari as a man of great humility and a peace ambassador who dedicated his life to fostering love and unity among people.
“Mallam Isah Fari lived a selfless and fulfilled life, devoting himself entirely to the propagation of Islam. His wise counsel and advice will be sorely missed,” the statement noted, underscoring the Imam’s invaluable contributions to both spiritual and societal development.
Bago reflected on the Imam’s enduring legacy of promoting harmony, emphasizing that his teachings and exemplary life would continue to inspire generations to come.
While commiserating with the Minna Emirate Council, the bereaved family, and the entire Muslim Ummah, the Governor offered prayers for Allah’s eternal blessings on the departed.
He prayed, “May Allah grant the late Imam entry into Aljannat Firdausi and provide his family with solace and strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
