The coup leaders in Republic Niger have lifted the curfew they imposed after taking power and toppling the elected president on Wednesday, July 26.
AFP stated that according to a decree dated late Thursday and signed by coup leader Abdourahamane Tiani, “The curfew imposed since July 26, 2023, is officially lifted as of today.”
This development is coming amidst the delegation mission sent to Niger by the Economic Community of West African States Authority of Heads of States and Government, Bola Tinubu, on Thursday.
