Nigerian defender, Emmanuel Maviram, has completed a transfer to Portuguese club CD Tondela.
The 23-year-old made the switch from another Portuguese side, FC Vilaverdense, agreeing to a two-year deal with his new team.
Maviram, who has been based in Portugal since 2019, expressed his joy about the move, saying, “Thank you very much, Tondela, for this opportunity and for trusting in me.”
Speaking on his playing style, he added, “As a full-back, my primary focus is on defending and closing down opponents effectively.
“However, I also contribute to attacking play and provide support to the team’s forward movements.
“Most importantly, I am committed and available to contribute to the team’s success.”
