Nigerians have called on popular Nigerian pastor, Paul Enenche, to apologize to a woman he called out for giving fake testimony in his church.
In a viral shared on social media, a woman who attends Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, was seen on the altar sharing testimony after successfully graduating with a ‘Bachelor of Law’ degree from the National Open University of Nigeria on Saturday, April 13.
She spoke further of how God made her the “only graduate in her family.”
However, in the middle of her testimony, Pastor Enenche, who was worried by her command of English language, interrupted her and accused her of lying.
The cleric asked the lady what degree did she graduated with and she said ‘Law’. Probing further, the cleric asked her what kind of Law degree, the lady answered ‘B.Sc in Law’
He told her she didn’t sound like a Law graduate, going by how she speaks. He also told her that there is nothing like a ‘Bachelor of Law’ and demanded she leaves the pulpit and warned his members never to come to the altar to lie about a ‘testimony’
“I want to appreciate God and family and also thanking God for using Daddy and Mummy for my sake. It all happened that I was trying to school in NOUN before I cameto this Dunamis. There are a lot of things happening to my life and family. From my father and my mother side nonody is graduate. They only ended up in primary or secondary schools.
“But when God remembered me, I got job and decided to further my education. I wanted to do law program. I started in 2014. I want to thank God that during that period I never lacked money to pay my school fees,” the testimony read partly.
Nigerians are now demanding that Pastor Enenche apologises to the woman whom he disgraced at the altar and accused of lying after authenticating the woman testimony.
They have subsequently found the woman’s Facebook page and photos showing her graduating from National Open University, Abuja.
Also, a list of graduates who had their convocation on Saturday, April 13, had the lady’s name.
After a thorough search on the National Open University’s website, it revealed that, indeed, the institution has a “Bachelor of Law” program.
Nigerians have now shared all these on Facebook while demanding that Enenche apologises for his actions.
