The global sportswear giant, Nike, has unveiled the new home and away jersey for the Super Eagles for the 2024/2025 football season.
Nike shared the first look of the home and away jersey for the Super Eagles ahead of the international friendlies and AFCON 2025 on its website on Monday.
The perfect blend of green and black puts the 2024 edition of the away jersey in a colourful class of its own.
The home jersey is styled white with green hoops at the end of the sleeves and shorts while the word ‘Naija’ is boldly inscribed on the chest of the kit in green, making a brilliant complement of colours.
The away kit is a colour pastel of dark green patterned with a lighter shade of the colour in a stylistic homage to Nigeria’s national colours.
The Super Eagles are expected to wear the new kits for their 2026 World Cup qualification campaign.
The team is billed to host South Africa on June 3 for their third game of the qualifier before travelling to Benin Republic seven days later.
Before then, the Eagles will play Ghana and Mali in friendly matches on March 22 and 26, respectively, at the Grand Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.
