The Kano State Government has asserted its resolve against intimidation regarding the dissolution of the five emirates and the reinstatement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The State Deputy Governor Aminu Gwarzo expressed this unwavering position while addressing reporters in Kano amidst the ongoing crisis surrounding the dissolution of the Emirate Councils.
The Deputy Governor said, “The state government decided through the proper legal process. Nobody will intimidate us from making a decision that serves the common good of the people.
”The importance of peaceful coexistence for the state’s progress and political stability is paramount.”
Gwarzo emphasized that Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration is dedicated to reinstating the state’s core values of peace, justice, equality, tolerance, and hospitality.
