Ogun Amotekun commander Akinremi is dead

The Ogun State Commander of the Amotekun Corps, David Akinremi, has reportedly died.

It was gathered that Akinremi who was a retired Commissioner of Police, was died on Monday evening.

It was said that Akinremi had been suffering from an undisclosed ailment for quite some time until his passing on Monday.

The Commander of the So-Safe Corps, Soji Ganzallo, while confirming the incident, described Akinremi’s death as a rude shock.

Akinremi was in 2021 appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun as the pioneer Commander of the newly established Amotekun Corps.

The Amotekun Corps under his watch, worked with other security agents in their bid to curb the State of crimes and criminalities.
