One person has been feared dead after a building in Kano State was reportedly demolished by the State government.
This was disclosed by the Nigerian Television Authority on Thursday.
It was also stated that three people were rescued under the rubbles in the old Daula hotel.
“Three people were rescued critically injured and a body was found after being buried under the rubbles in the old Daula Hotel, a structure that was pulled down by Kano state government for what it described as an effort to bring sanity to land matters in the city”, NTA stated.
Recall that the building was one of several other buildings demolished by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State under the ongoing demolition exercise to reclaim government properties illegally sold out.
