A mass funeral has been held for police officers killed in a suicide bombing at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan during Monday afternoon prayers.
Although, the mosque was within a highly guarded police headquarters and up to 400 officers were in the area at the time of the blast, PUNCH Metro had reported that at least 34 people were killed and 125 injured from the deadly blast in Pakistan’s northwestern city on Monday.
According to the Peshawar Police Chief, Mohammad Aijaz Khan, the blast inside the Police Lines Mosque was “probably a suicide attack.”
