Commuters and residents in the Fadeyi area of Lagos State are feared to have been injured or dead following a devastating blaze sparked by a fully loaded petrol tanker at the renowned NNPC fuel station in the vicinity.
As of the time of filing this report, Punch Metro cannot verify the exact details of the event or ascertain whether anyone was trapped in the inferno which has also spread to the fuel station.
Nevertheless, fire service personnel and other emergency responders have swiftly mobilized to the scene.
