A fatal accident on the Odo Iya-Alaro Bridge in Lagos has left one person dead and 17 others injured.
The collision, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, involved multiple vehicles, causing significant damage and traffic disruption.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority confirmed the incident in a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle. “In the early hours of today (12:30 AM), a catastrophic multi-vehicle collision occurred on the Odo Iya-Alaro Bridge, tragically claiming one life and severely injuring 17 others,” the statement read.
