Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa joined other important dignitaries on Thursday to attended the 10th year remembrance Fidau of President Bola Tinubu’s mother, late Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji.
The event took place at De Blue Roof, LTV, Agidingbi area of Ikeja, Lagos.
This was revealed in a post on the state’s Facebook page on Thursday.
Tinubu’s daughter, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo; Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat; former Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Tukur Buratai (retd.); and other dignitaries were in attendance at the event.
Recall that Tinubu on Thursday penned a tribute to his late mother.
In the post, he reflected on their time together and the qualities of hard work, forthrightness, and tenacity she instilled in him, saying, “10 years ago, today, my darling mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji passed away. On this day, I remember her love, grit, devotion, and generosity.
“I will always cherish the time we had together and the values of hard work, forthrightness, and perseverance she instilled in me. May Allah continue to rest her beautiful soul.”
