A lone goal from England International, Marcus Rashford was all that gave Manchester United the much needed victory over Brentford on Wednesday evening.
Manchester United who lost their last premier league game against Newcastle United over the weekend returned to winning ways after holding on to their victory against Brentford.
Rashford continued his blazing form of the season by scoring in the 27th minute at the Old Trafford.
Even though Manchester United could not double the score line, nonetheless, they were able to see off a late charge from Brentford to preserve their lead.
In another game, Newcastle defeated West Ham United by five goals to one to retain their third position on the league table.
