Protesting members of the Nigeria Labour Congress have pulled down gates of the national assembly in Abuja.
Images obtained from the national assembly showed the members of the NLC working on the pulled gate, while chanting solidarity songs.
PUNCH METRO reports that policemen have been deployed to strategic locations in FCT to maintain peace during the workers protest.
This is coming as the NLC and its members have commenced a nationwide protest against President Bola Tinubu’s removal of fuel subsidy.
