Former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has named his choice of the best football manager in the world.
Oliseh made this known in a post via his X handle.
When talking about the best manager in the world many football enthusiasts could easily mention Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, contrarily, Oliseh picks Aston Villa boss, Unai Emery as his favourite.
This was after the Spaniard guided Villa to the semifinal of a European competition for the first time since 1982.
Aston Villa defeated French Ligue 1 giants, Lille, on penalties at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Thursday to progress to the last four of the UEFA Europa Conference League where they will face Olympiakos.
Emery, a former Arsenal boss, became Villa manager in October 2022 after Steven Gerrard was sacked.
Oliseh, former Dutch-based club coach, while reacting to a post on X shower encomium on the heroics of the Spanish tactician.
“Arguably the best coach in the world! Una Emery is simply phenomenal,” he wrote.
Aston Villa are currently fourth in the EPL standing with the hope of qualifying for the Champions League for the first time ever, courtesy of Emery.
