The operatives of the Taraba State Police Command have arrested four suspected kidnappers in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of the State.
This was made known by the Command’s Spokesperson, Abdullahi Usman via a press statement made available to journalists on Thursday.
Usman listed the names of the arrested suspects to include Babangida Yakubu, Sunday Nuyama, Layanu Kamu and Emma Ezekiel.
The arrest came barely two weeks after 20 suspected kidnappers were paraded before journalists in Jalingo, the State capital, by the police command.
He affirmed that the suspects are all indigenes of the State, adding that they were arrested on the 27th of this month in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of the State.
The PPRO said the arrest was carried out by the Special Taskforce attached to the State Police Command following a tip off by some good Samaritans.
He disclosed that weapons recovered from the suspects are one fabricated beretta pistol, one locally made pistol and one 9mm live ammunition.
