Tension in Bauchi community as police officer stabs two to death

There is palpable tension in the Yelwa area, a suburb of Bauchi metropolis of Bauchi State, following the alleged stabbing of three residents by a police officer, which led to the death of two of them.
Currently, youths of the area have blocked the road from Elim Church junction to the Yelwa Divisional Headquarters, protesting the incident.
The angry youths were seen pelting stones at the police and inside the Yelwa Police Station. The police were also shooting into the air to disperse them.
The youths also set vehicle tyres on fire on the road.
