A road crash near Charlie Boy Bus Stop in Gbagada, Lagos, has claimed three lives while leaving multiple people injured.
This was disclosed through a press statement by the Permanent Secretary, LASEMA, Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, on Saturday.
According to him, LASEMA responded swiftly to the emergency call, arriving at the scene within 16 minutes.
“On October 14, 2023, at 10:01 PM, a white Mazda bus, registration number JJJ-844YA, carrying 18 passengers, lost control while heading from Oshodi to Ajah.
“It collided with a moving truck, resulting in the immediate loss of three lives and injuries to several others,” the statement explained.
It also added that LASEMA’s paramedics administered pre-hospital care to three injured passengers who were then transported to Gbagada General Hospital.
