The Nigeria President-elect, Bola Tinubu has congratulated Israel Adesanya for reclaiming his UFC middleweight belt title in the Ultimate Fighting Championship 287.
The President-elect sent his congratulatory message via his Twitter handle on Sunday.
He applauded the UFC winner for believing in himself which has translated into his victory.
He also noted that Adesanya did not soil the belief Nigerians have in him to come out victorious.
Tinubu’s post reads: “Congratulations to Israel Adesanya #stylebender on reclaiming the UFC Middleweight Title.
“He never stopped believing in himself and we did not stop believing in him. #NaijaProud.”
