President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences following the death of Emir Yunusa Danyaya of Ningi, Bauchi State.
According to The PUNCH, the revered monarch, who had recently returned from a medical trip to Saudi Arabia, passed away in the early hours of Sunday, August 25.
In response to the news, President Tinubu issued a statement through his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, offering heartfelt sympathies to the people of the Ningi Emirate and the Bauchi State Government.
The statement, titled ‘President Tinubu mourns Emir of Ningi’, highlighted the President’s reflections on the late emir’s legacy.
It read, “The President describes the late monarch as an illustrious leader who deployed the power and resources of his throne to serve his community.”
President Tinubu further prayed for the eternal peace of the departed traditional ruler and extended his condolences to the grieving family and all who are mourning this significant loss.
