President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo as the new Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
According to a statement by the spokesperson of the presidency, Ajuri Ngelale Dr. Kogo, is a seasoned lawyer and expert in law, security, economy, politics, and international diplomacy, is expected to bring professionalism, integrity, and dedication to the role.
The President expects the CCT under Dr. Kogo’s leadership to discharge its functions with the highest standards of integrity and fidelity to the nation.
The statement reads in part, “President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo as the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
“Dr. Kogo is a seasoned lawyer and analyst in the fields of law, security, economy, politics, and international diplomacy.
“The President anticipates professionalism, integrity, and fidelity to the nation in the discharge of the functions of the Office of the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).”
