The former governor of Lagos State was proclaimed the victor of the hotly contested election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, surpassing his rivals from other political parties in voter participation.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party finished second behind Tinubu in the results that State Collation Officers reported to INEC, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party finished third.
The son of MC Oluomo claimed in a post on Instagram that the family owns both Lagos and Nigeria and that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the APC’s candidate for governor, will win a second term.
He asserts that regardless of how the opposing parties contend, Sanwo-Olu will win in Lagos.
He said: “Na we get Lagos, Na we get Nigeria, fee announcement for those at the back. Sanwoolu is going to be elected for second term if you like go and pack everyone in your village to come and vote.
“There’s no promo during the governorship elections. For those of you that attended Tunde Ednut school of politics, you can choose to remain ignorant to the fact that politics is not for the faint hearted. Obi is a boy, I am even smarter than him.”
