The reality TV star and winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has attributed 80 per cent of deaths in General Hospitals to the negligence on the part of the medical workers.
The reality star, who stated this through her Twitter handle on Tuesday, while giving an idea of her unpleasant experiences, said, “Some nurses in General Hospitals deserved to be “flogged and sacked.”
The celebrity, who clarified that she doubts if it happens in every General hospital, said she is ready to take on anyone who comes for her over her assertion.
“I doubt it’s all general hospitals, but I hereby say some nurses in general hospitals need to be flogged and sacked.
“80% of death in general hospitals are caused by the workers. On top of this very thing I fit swear for anybody wey come for m” she wrote.
However, the celebrity’s claim has generated a lot of reactions on social media, as tweeps are giving their different opinions, on the issue.

@walshakgentle: One of the reasons we have many deaths in hospitals is because most nurses employed, don’t have passion for the job. Most workers in Nigeria only work for the money, they don’t have passion. A nurse that has passion for the job won’t put up lackadaisical attitude with patients.
@BeatBlessed: Honestly the situation in many government general hospitals is very very sickening, from lack of medications in the hospitals to frustrated health workers , some who take long working without pay , it’s very sad though and in most cases the patients are the ones who suffer.
