The draw for the league phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League took place in Monaco on Thursday afternoon, where European football’s elite clubs learned their fate for the revamped competition.
Real Madrid, who are the reigning champions after their victory over Borussia Dortmund in last season’s final, will face a greater challenge 2024/2025 due to the tournament’s expansion from 32 to 36 teams.
Representing the English Premier League in this prestigious competition are Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa.
These teams join a formidable lineup that includes Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter Milan—clubs all eager to make a deep run in the competition.
