Vinícius Júnior scored hat trick, as the reigning LaLiga champions, Real Madrid thrashed Osasuna 4-0 on Saturday.
This emphatic win helped Madrid shake off a two-match winless spell across all competitions, with Vinícius showcasing his talent in a pivotal game at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Vinícius ignited the scoring in the 34th minute, skillfully taking a pass from English midfielder Jude Bellingham and timing his run perfectly to beat Osasuna’s defense.
With a sharp, composed finish, he fired a powerful shot past goalkeeper Sergio Herrera, setting the tone for Madrid’s dominant performance.
Eight minutes later, Bellingham himself joined the scoresheet, breaking his own scoring drought to claim his first goal of the season.
The playmaker demonstrated his finesse with an exquisite lob that sailed over Herrera, doubling Madrid’s advantage before halftime and bringing the home crowd to their feet.
Vinícius continued to dictate the game, sealing the win with additional goals in the 61st and 69th minutes, displaying lethal finishing and versatility in the box.
His third goal completed the hat trick, pushing Madrid to 27 points in the LaLiga standings—six points behind league leaders Barcelona. Meanwhile, Osasuna, sitting in fifth place, remained at 21 points.
While Madrid celebrated a much-needed win, the day wasn’t without setbacks. Defenders Éder Militão and forward Rodrygo both exited in the first half with injuries, dealing a blow to the team’s roster.
To make matters worse, Lucas Vázquez also had to be substituted at halftime after sustaining an apparent knock, adding to Madrid’s list of injury concerns.
