The West African Examinations Council has officially opened its online portals for school recognition and the submission of Continuous Assessment Scores in preparation for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination.
Schools intending to present candidates for the upcoming exam are advised to complete the necessary processes within the specified deadlines.
According to a statement released late Monday, with reference number BN/ZC/MOE/15/VOL.2/139, and signed by Mr. A. Adebolu, Head of Exams for the Branch Controller, the recognition portal for new schools will be accessible from September 2 to December 13, 2024. The notice, addressed to school principals, was titled “WASSCE (SC) 2025: OPENING OF ONLINE PORTALS FOR SCHOOL RECOGNITION AND UPLOAD OF CASS 1 & 2.”
“All schools seeking approval to present candidates for the 2025 WASSCE are encouraged to complete their recognition applications and make the required payments within this period,” the statement urged.
Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the CASS 1 & 2 upload portal will be open from September 2 to December 20, 2024. Schools must ensure that all necessary data is uploaded before the deadline, as no extensions will be granted.
“The CASS upload portal for CASS 1 & 2 will be open from September 2 to December 20, 2024,” the statement read. “It is crucial that schools adhere to these deadlines as the portals will close at midnight on the respective due dates, and no further requests will be entertained.”
