The Nigerian afrobeat legend, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido reacted to his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s victory at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
The afrobeat maestro who took to his Twitter handle to hail his uncle implied that there will always be surprises when it comes to Adeleke’s concerns.
The supreme court on Tuesday upheld Adeleke’s victory in the July 12, 2022 governorship election in Osun State.
Shortly after the apex court’s declaration, Davido wrote, “We go Dey shock dem like high tension!! @AAdeleke_01.”
Before the ruling, the ‘Assurance’ crooner had also prayed on social media for God’s intervention in the case.
Also before the judgement, Senator Adeleke wrote, “God is going to win today.”
Davido replied, “Amen unc. we got this!”
