Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector, has stated why record labels owners must protect their signees.
He stated this hours after the burial of Ilerioluwa Aloba also know as Mohbad.
PUNCH METRO reported that the Mohbad passed away on Tuesday at the age of 27.
Since the news of his demise was made public, celebrities, fans, and other Nigerians have continued to react to the shocking death.
While reacting to Mohbad’s demise, Vector in a post through his X account (formerly Twitter), stated that he is bothered by “the energy around that man’s death”.
While he didn’t specify whose death, it’s been speculated that he made a reference to the late Mohbad.
According to him, “Plenty of these young men from the streets have their self esteem damaged from society so much before they meet the ones who take advantage of them.”
“He also stated that record labels owners should not just sign up-and-coming artists but must also ensure that they are protected.
