A 55-year-old woman, Ifeoma, died shortly after collapsing while sharing a testimony at the Ministry Church in Ejigbo, Lagos State, on September 8, 2024.
According to The PUNCH, the state police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development.
Hundeyin confirmed that the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
He said, “Ifeoma went to the front of the church, singing songs of gratitude, when she suddenly slumped.”
“She was referred to the General Hospital in Isolo, where she was confirmed dead,” he said.
The incident occurred around 8:48 am during Sunday service. “The husband and family of the deceased took the corpse to Anambra State for burial,” Hundeyin added.
The cause of Ifeoma’s death is yet to be determined.
