A renowned Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has offered prayers for President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima for God’s enablement on the duo to lead Nigeria better.
The controversial actor said this on his official Twitter handle while congratulating the duo after taking their oath of office.
Tinubu and Shettima were sworn into office by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Monday morning.
Edochie in his congratulatory tweet said, “Congratulations to our new President & Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT His Excellency Kashim Shettima @KashimSM May God give you all you need to lead our country to greater heights.”
More so, the newly sworn-in president has promised to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the constitution of Nigeria.
Recall that Tinubu and Shettima were declared winner of the recent presidential election as the president and Vice president.
The duo who represented All Progressives Congress as president and vice respectively were able to defeat presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
