One person have reportedly died on Friday as a commercial bus rammed into a truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The Federal Road Safety Corps Spokesperson, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident while speaking with newsmen on Friday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Okpe said that the incident occurred at about 6 pm after Danco filling station.

She revealed three persons were involved in the crash, all male adults.

While one person died in the crash, two others were rescued with no injuries.

The Mazda commercial bus registered as LEM56XB had crashed with the truck while speeding.

“The suspected cause of the crash is speed and dangerous driving,” Okpe disclosed.

The FRSC spokesperson stated further that the corpse was deposited at the Idera morgue in Sagamu, Ogun State.
