The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has announced that the church has fully paid off the debt incurred for the construction of the Trinity Towers.
Pastor Adeboye made this revelation in a recently shared video, addressing members of the congregation. Reflecting on the journey, he recalled how the church was merely a tenant when it first occupied the site.
“When we paid first visit to this edifice , we were just tenants. Many of you may not have known, but at the time, this building actually belonged to a bank,” he said.
The revered cleric noted that the construction of the Trinity Towers required billions of naira, a debt that weighed heavily on the church when the structure was inaugurated.
Adenoye noted that the church won’t believe how much they owed when they gathered there for the dedication, adding that they were not just dedicating an auditorium; they were standing in a building that did not entirely belong to the church.
“Many of you can’t believe how much money we owed the day we came to dedicate this place. We were not dedicating the building, I am not even sure we are dedicating this auditorium because we were owing billions of naira,” he recalled.
However, Pastor Adeboye expressed gratitude to God, confirming that the church had now completely settled its financial obligations.
“By the grace of God, this building is now fully ours. And when I say it is ours, I mean from top to bottom, every single part of it,” he declared.
The Trinity Towers, a multi-billion naira edifice, now stands as a testament to RCCG’s faith and perseverance, marking a significant milestone in the church’s history.
